Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital Highlights the Significant Need for Organ Donors

Stories like Seavey’s drew a small crowd to the front of Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital on Thursday afternoon, to celebrate the start of “National Donate Life Month.” 

At the gathering, Intermountain and Donor Alliance leadership joined Seavey to highlight the significance of organ, eye and tissue transplants, as well as the role both organizations play in facilitating them.

Increase in Gunnison Valley Health Tests Leads to Saving Lives in the Valley

At a virtual roundtable hosted by Healthier Colorado, U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, heard from advocates about how new Medicaid requirements under H.R.1, an end of extended Affordable Care Act tax credits, and other cuts from the federal government have hindered health providers’ ability to offer the care that patients across the state need.
