HopeWest Kids was selected as Red Rock Auto’s charity of choice for the second year in a row! Employees get to nominate and vote on the charity of their choosing, and throughout the year, they designate an amount of their checks to go toward the chosen charity.

These funds were raised during the Pink the Rink fundraiser in February. The donation will go towards supporting the Grand Valley Oncology program.

“The collaboration with B4 Babies and St. Mary’s began in 1989,” said Victoria Grasmick, who works in Community Health at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. “It gets families off to the right start from the get-go, which then gives them a higher likelihood of success throughout life.”

The Aspen City Council formally approved Aspen Valley Health’s plan to redevelop the Beaumont Inn on the city’s east side during a meeting on Tuesday. The project will redevelop the property’s existing 25 units into 60, mostly one-bedroom units to house full-time hospital staff.

The Vail Health Crisis and Community Support Team conducted 17 interventions with locals who called the crisis line in January. That number climbed to 34 in February and 31 in March.

Michelle Hayo, RN (ER) was recognized as a Regional Luminary at the Southwest Excellence in Nursing Awards. This recognition includes nurses from across eight counties in Southwest Colorado, making it an incredible honor.
