Hospital Clinics & Private Physician Group Transition into Montrose Regional Health’s New Ambulatory Care Center

About 17 months ago, ceremonial shovels shifted a bit of ground at the vacant lot across from Hobby Lobby. Steadily, from behind construction fences, steel beams began rising to form the Montrose Regional Health Ambulatory Care Center. On Monday, several hospital services and divisions will have moved to the center and be open to serve patients, as will the new offices for Cedar Point Health, a private, physician-owned practice.

Gunnison Valley Health is excited to announce the launch of an installation project for a cutting-edge MRI unit at the hospital. Scheduled to commence on Tuesday, March 26, this initiative underscores the organization’s commitment to providing top-tier healthcare services to the community. The new MRI unit is expected to be fully operational by June 12, with minimal service disruption ensured through the provision of a mobile MRI unit onsite during installation.

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is excited to announce its adoption of a program to accept unused or expired prescription medications for safe disposal for community use.

This drop-off kiosk is conveniently located in the lobby of the Emergency Department at the main hospital campus at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida. Any patient of the hospital or clinics, community member or members of the public can utilize this kiosk safely and anonymously.
