The Precourt Healing Center is a new psychiatric hospital that opened in Edwards, Colorado, in early May 2025 that offers short-term ‘stabilization and therapy services’ to help patients connect with their body, mind, and spirit.
This open letter was sent to the Daily Yonder and is presented to you in its original form. We believe that the voices of organizations and professionals like the authors of this message speak most truthfully to the lived realities of rural communities in the face of big, federal legislation that spans billions of dollars and affects everything from healthcare to the economy.

Delta Health CEO Jonathan Cohee worked tirelessly during this legislative session, fighting for Delta Health. Not only did he testify multiple times regarding various bills that would have caused irreparable damage to healthcare, he also recently spent a “day on the hill” meeting with legislators.
