Marlette Regional Hospital was recently awarded $3,000 from the Sanilac County Community Foundation to purchase a recliner(s) for United Hospice Service.

The recliner(s) will be placed in United Hospice’s Residency for patients’ family members to use. With this grant, we hope to provide more comfort for hospice patients and their families. It is compatible with sleeping to help loved ones stay close to those in our hospice residency.

Montrose Regional Health is collaborating with Montrose Black Canyon Rotary Club and Montrose High School Black Canyon Interact Club to purchase essential lab equipment for the National Blood Transfusion Services in Belize, a country in Central America where disease concerns and supply limitations contribute to a severe blood donation shortage. 

National staffing firm Soliant today named the 2024 Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. The annual contest aims to recognize hospitals across the country for their facility design, comforting staff and patient experience through a nomination and voting process.

The Spine Center at Valley View (Glenwood Springs, Colo.): The providers at Valley View Hospital’s spine center are ranked in the top 10% of healthcare providers in the U.S. for patient experience. Valley View is also the first hospital in the state’s Western Slope region to offer spine surgery using Medtronic’s Mazor X Stealth robotic technology.
