Marlette Regional Hospital, Member of Aspire Rural Health System, Awarded $3,000 Grant from Sanilac County Community Foundation

Marlette Regional Hospital was recently awarded $3,000 from the Sanilac County Community Foundation to purchase a recliner(s) for United Hospice Service.

The recliner(s) will be placed in United Hospice’s Residency for patients’ family members to use. With this grant, we hope to provide more comfort for hospice patients and their families. It is compatible with sleeping to help loved ones stay close to those in our hospice residency.

Valley View has recently made significant upgrades to our imaging equipment and software, setting a new, extraordinary standard for care in the region.
– Moving from a 64-slice to a new 256-slice CT scanner, the most advanced CT imaging available, allows imaging procedures to be a more efficient, accurate and comfortable experience.
– For MRI, our upgraded hardware and software adds artificial intelligence (AI) programming allowing for faster scan times and improved image quality.
