Montrose Regional Health and the San Juan Healthcare Foundation have developed a new partnership and have become the Montrose Regional Health Foundation that will begin in 2025. The creation of this new, combined foundation will continue to support the healthcare needs of the Montrose community and surrounding region.
The hospital earned the highest possible designation of “High Performing,” and is one of 11 hospitals in Colorado recognized with this designation.
Salida Hospital District Board of Directors held a special meeting Dec. 13 to approve three resolutions in regards to the budget, setting a mill levy and appropriating sums.
The Star Rating System ranks rural and critical access health care facilities from 0 to 5 stars. These ratings offer hospitals and clinics a valuable tool to showcase their excellence in patient care.
The Colorado Hospital Association Board has named Konnie Martin as one of its newly appointed trustees and she will begin her term in January 2025. She has been the CEO at San Luis Valley Health since 2013 and serves as a leader in a variety of local, state, and national roles. Konnie has previously served on the CHA board, including serving as a former chair of the association.

Delta Health’s CAAS status also ensures it is listed on the official map of approved sites in Colorado, enhancing its visibility and credibility. This recognition helps maintain the hospital’s 340B status, a federal program that allows hospitals serving low-income populations to purchase medications at reduced prices, further supporting our commitment to patient care.
The hospital’s return to full licensing status ensures that it can continue to offer a wide range of psychiatric care services to Grand Junction and surrounding rural communities, including inpatient care, crisis intervention, and community outreach programs.
The guest house is located on the HRRMC campus. It includes ten units. Four are designated for overnight charitable accommodation to support HRRMC outpatients receiving treatments at the hospital, their families, and caregivers of HRRMC patients.
