Living Journeys Donated Shirts to Gunnison Valley Health’s Cancer Center

Thanks to the generosity of Living Journeys, Gunnison Valley Health’s Cancer Center patients will have access to free Comfy Chemoâ shirts. The shirts are specifically designed for patients with implanted chest venous access devices such as ports. The generous donation is another example of Living Journeys’ continued commitment to supporting the comfort and well-being of every person affected by cancer in the Gunnison Valley.

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Launches New Substance Use Services

HRRMC’s Salida Health Center (SHC) has launched a new substance use services program called The Green Line, now available to community members in our area. The program provides care and treatment plans to those struggling with substance use disorders, using a harm reduction method that does not require abstinence from substance use. The Green Line offers treatment, support and resources in a judgment-free, confidential space.

Guardian Research Network (GRN) announced today that Montrose Regional Health (MRH), the leading healthcare facility in Colorado’s Uncompahgre Valley, has joined its nationwide healthcare research consortium. Colorado Rural Health Center Celebrates National Rural Health Day with Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center

The Colorado Rural Health Center (CRHC), The State Office of Rural Health and Rural Health Association, is celebrating National Rural Health Day today alongside Walsenburg’s Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center (SPRHC). The annual celebration has taken place on the third Thursday in November since 2011 and is designed to honor and officially celebrate rural communities and the vital work they undertake across the state.
