Wayne is the Data Analyst, Population Health & Value-Based Care for the Community Care Alliance (CCA). In his role, he is responsible for building and maintaining the analytic foundation that supports CCA’s clinically integrated network, accountable care organization, and employer-based health initiatives. This role transforms claims, clinical, and care-coordination data into accurate, timely, and actionable insights that enable CCA’s rural hospitals, clinics, and care teams to improve quality, manage cost, and succeed in value-based care arrangements. Wayne was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado where he attended Colorado Mesa University and earned his associate degree in Computer Science. After completing his degree he moved to Greeley, Colorado where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology. Once completing his degree, he moved back to Grand Junction and started a career in health insurance. While learning his way through the complexity of the health insurance industry, Wayne started a role as a data analyst where he was focused on working with mostly Medicaid populations. Working in this role brought a greater understanding of working with vulnerable and rural patients to highlight importance of care. In his free time, Wayne enjoys many hobbies such as painting mini figurines, watching movies, playing games, exploring areas in and around Mesa County, and spending time with friends and family.
