San Luis Valley Health Received the 2026 Colorado Hospital Breastfeeding Excellence Award
At the September 16th event, CDPHE honored San Luis Valley Health with the Colorado Hospital Breastfeeding Excellence Platinum Award. The Colorado Hospital Breastfeeding Excellence Award honors hospitals on a biennial basis for their commitment to evidence-based maternity care and breastfeeding support through written hospital policies that follow eight of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative’s Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
