Imagine being an emergency care provider for a child in an ambulance, and when it’s time to place an oxygen mask on the child’s face, there are only adult masks on board. Moments like this brought the Colorado Pediatric Preparedness for the Emergency Room (COPPER) program into being, and the Telluride Regional Medical Center emergency department team has been working to earn program certification.
