Mental Health First Aid Sign Up

WHA member, Mind Springs Health, is offering WHA employees an opportunity to take part in their Mental Health First Aid course. Mental Health First Aid focuses on an evidence-based intervention model for helping someone suffering with mental illness or substance abuse. This course helps participants identify resources that can make a difference in their lives, their families’ lives, and the communities in which they live. It provides participants with response options to help them de-escalate incidents and better understand mental illnesses so they can respond to mental health-related situations appropriately without compromising safety.
