Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) is nestled in one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Colorado in the small resort town of Pagosa Springs. PSMC opened in January of 2008 and is part of the Upper San Juan Health Service District that was formed in 1981. The District's boundaries include virtually all of Archuleta County and the portions of Hinsdale and Mineral Counties south of the Continental Divide.
PSMC is a Critical Access Hospital offering a full spectrum of healthcare services including 24/7 emergency room, digital mammography, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, gastroenterology, lab and diagnostic services, primary care rehabilitation services and more.
The Upper San Juan Health Service District will be developed into a sustainable integrated health care resource system through service, leadership, and community partnership.
