More than 7,050 patients underwent an advanced CT scan at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center during 2023 to help diagnose issues related to everything from kidney disease to diabetes.
Hospital officials say the CT scan “is one of the most critical pieces of equipment at YVMC and is used daily to diagnose and monitor acute and chronic injuries and illnesses.”
