Mind Springs Health Announces New Management Agreement with Larkin Health System & Interim CEO

Mind Springs Health is the Western Slope’s largest provider of counseling and therapy for mental wellness and assists individuals and families dealing with and recovering from substance abuse and addiction. Covering a 23,000-square mile service area in western Colorado, Mind Springs Health offers a continuum of mental health care with crisis response services, offices for outpatient treatment, residential substance use disorder treatment, and West Springs Hospital, which is the only psychiatric hospital with a walk-up, psychiatric emergency department between Denver and Salt Lake City.

Marlette Regional Hospital, Member of Aspire Rural Health System, Named One of Six Recipients of $15M Equitable Mobility Challenge

On October 24th, 2024, Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II joined the Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME) and Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) at the inaugural Mobility Conference in Detroit to announce six recipients of the $15M Equitable Mobility Challenge. Launched in early 2024, the program sought grant proposals that addressed mobility gaps and improved access to education, jobs, health care, food, and social opportunities.

Valley View Hospital Announces New Chief Medical Information Officer

Foster Goss, DO, MMSc is an emergency physician and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at Valley View. He completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center and pursued a National Library of Medicine fellowship in biomedical informatics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Goss holds board certifications in both emergency medicine and clinical informatics.

The Leapfrog Group Awards Delta Health an ‘A’ for Hospital Safety Grade

Delta Health earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.
