With funds raised by the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s office pink patch project, they were able to donate a total of $2935.00 ($1467.50 to each hospital).

UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center recently was recognized with a 2024 Excellence in Patient Experience award in the small hospital category from National Research Corp. Health. YVMC ranked first out of 212 hospitals in the small hospital category, according to a UCHealth media notice.

Foster Goss, DO, MMSc is an emergency physician and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at Valley View. He completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center and pursued a National Library of Medicine fellowship in biomedical informatics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Goss holds board certifications in both emergency medicine and clinical informatics.
