Cathryn Benedict

Cathryn has worn many hats in the course of her career culminating in a well-rounded understanding of the operations and people within practices and health systems. Cathryn is excited to bring this experience to CCA where she will utilize her skillset to forge relationships as a trusted advisor, skilled coach and facilitator for CCA’s two Accountable Care Organizations. As the Population Health Manager, she will mentor practice teams to identify, analyze and develop strategies to enhance operations, workflows and culture to advance clinical outcomes, optimize patient experiences and shift workflows to meet value-based care delivery care outcomes. Cathryn believes in collaboration and has developed strong professional roots in Colorado and beyond to draw on and keep current within this challenging health care ecosystem. Some of her favorite projects have been training practices for Medicated Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder, utilizing focus groups to develop best practices related to preventive screening and care coordination in conjunction with Colorado Department of Health and Environment and University of Colorado, Department of Colorectal Research which increased colorectal screening by 18% where the national average was 1.2% for the same timeline/criteria. Cathryn worked in collaboration with Family Medicine and their Practice Innovation Program and reported an average overall MIPS practice score of 98% for the practices she consulted with. Cathryn has extensive experience with small one provider practices to large hospital systems and their affiliated networks. Cathryn’s passion is to bring health to practices resulting in HAPPINESS at the workplace!
