Peer Review Services

Western Healthcare Alliance developed Peer Review Services to provide assistance with the performance of peer review activities to member healthcare providers. WHA acts as an intermediary, creating a large pool of consultants while providing complete confidentiality to all parties involved in the process.

Peer Review Highlights

Cases are reviewed by practitioners who are in good standing and are MD or DO Board Certified or eligible.
Physicians reviewing the cases are objective and critical, and practice in a similar specialty and practice environment.
Cases and reports are kept strictly confidential.
Reports are transmitted by WHA from the reviewer to the healthcare facility.
Invoicing and payments are handled by WHA to maintain confidentiality of both facility and reviewer.
