Participating members now enjoy discounts on reference lab testing as well as other services provided by their chosen partner, Mayo Medical Laboratories. Members also receive the benefits of additional programs which include outreach marketing assistance, joint test-sharing, and collaborative payer contracting, as well as other programs currently under development.

Features:

  • Consolidated reference lab testing from Mayo Medical Laboratories (MML)
  • Physician office connectivity
  • Collaborative outreach activities
  • Recruitment and retention strategies for laboratory staff
  • Centralized services
  • Join test-sharing among WHA lab members
  • Collaborative payer contracting
  • Customized on-site consulting services
  • Consolidated education for laboratory professionals
  • Payer contracting representation
  • Continuing education programs
  • Fee schedule analysis and optimization
  • Feasibility studies (staffing, equipment and new services)

Results:

  • Improved turnaround times
  • More competitive pricing
  • Integrated laboratory system interface
  • Clinical and technical expertise
  • Unmatched customer service
  • High quality laboratory information
  • Lower costs and improved operational efficiencies
  • The ability to keep lab business local
